Yoga is a vast and ancient body of philosophies and practices, descended from the Vedas and later the Upanishads. In this workshop we will organically explore together what yoga is and how it can be understood and practiced beyond the mat. We will discuss yoga philosophy and the texts pertaining to it, if relevant, while weaving in concepts from Taoism and Buddhism, which are highly complementary. No experience is necessary, only an open mind and willingness to explore what it is to be a human through the wonderful lens of yoga. Recommended to bring: pen, paper, and, if possible, a copy of the Yoga Sutras or Bhagavad Gita.
